Bridges Designed
Projects
Welcome to our website, where our experienced team of designers and builders with 45 years of expertise offers comprehensive bridge design and construction services. Whether it’s a multi-span bridge, a dual-laned deck, or a single-span walk bridge, we provide professional engineering input and work closely with passionate chartered engineers to ensure the selection of skilled contractors who excel in delivering each bridge project economically.
To achieve optimal performance and longevity, our experienced engineers carefully analyse and incorporate all complex factors into the design scope before the structural engineers support the bridge loads. Our designs typically have a design life of 100 years, ensuring durability and safety.
The purpose of this website is to introduce our design group’s solutions to Australian and New Zealand clients with specific bridging needs. We understand that each site has unique demands that require the expertise of experienced bridge engineering specialists. By considering site-specific criteria, geotechnical investigations, and known facts, we determine the most suitable design for the bridge.
Bridges We Work On
Concrete and Steel Composite Bridge
Our steel composite bridges utilize a steel a portal sub structure that works together with the reinforced concrete deck to provide composite action that meet HN HO-72 bridge loading standards in accordance with AS 5100 (Bridge Design), and the NZ Transport Agency Bridge Manual.
Single lane and Double Lane Bridges
Single lane bridges are required in farm access or rural area. Standard width of the single carriageway bridge is 4.8m and double lane bridges are required in urban areas with 9m carriage width.
7.5m, 9m, 12m and 15m Bridge
We have standard rural bridge designs for 7.5m, 9m, 12m and 15m spans ready to go. Alternatively our in house team of structural and geotechnical engineers are able to customize the design to best suit your site requirements.
For all design we will carry out a site inspection to assessing the width of the waterway, flood levels and geotechnical features to determine the what length bridge should be required.
Years Established
Completed Projects
The upper deck design and loadings are influenced by project scope, mechanics, and the code parameters defined in the country/state design manuals and loading codes. In New Zealand and Australia, the design loading codes are similar, but state-specific requirements, such as deck widths and lane design, are provided by the State Bridge design manual relevant to the local council. New bridges require design and acceptance consents from the local district council, involving planning, water approval, geotechnical reports, and collaboration with structural engineers to meet all necessary criteria.
Our goal is to provide effective bridge solutions tailored to our client’s needs, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance with regulatory standards. With our extensive experience and commitment to excellence, we deliver reliable bridge designs that stand the test of time.
